Electrical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to lead on‑site electrical maintenance at a client location in Dammam. The role focuses on transformer rectifiers and electrical panel boards, ensuring all work complies with permits, schedules, and Aramco quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site technicians, assign tasks and enforce safe work practices.
• Obtain required work permits and execute tasks according to approved schedules.
• Perform self‑inspections to guarantee work meets Aramco standards before sign‑off.
• Install, terminate, troubleshoot, repair, and commission transformer rectifiers and panel boards.
• Review project drawings and scope of work thoroughly before execution.
• Maintain valid CWQAP, Aramco WPR certificates and a driving licence.
• Apply preventive‑maintenance knowledge, diagnose equipment issues and submit accurate reports.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of industrial or oil & gas electrical experience, preferably with transformer rectifiers and panel boards.
• Prior experience on Aramco or similar sites is preferred.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership experience.
