Emergency Medicine Specialist

About the role

The Emergency Medicine Specialist will deliver diagnosis and treatment to patients receiving care at Fakeeh Care facilities, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered services in line with institutional policies and clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care within granted privileges, adhering to Fakeeh Care policies and clinical protocols.
• Document all care activities according to Fakeeh Care documentation standards.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures, collaborating with attending physicians for in‑patients.
• Perform or assist in medical/surgical procedures as permitted by privileges.
• Supply requested medical reports promptly and in the required format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and the training of junior staff.
• Uphold confidentiality, cybersecurity, safety protocols, and the organization’s code of conduct.

Required profile

• Clear communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and non‑medical staff.
• Ability to present information to public groups and management.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work in high‑stress environments.
• 0–3 years of experience in emergency medicine within recognized hospitals or health centers.
• Saudi Specialty Certification or equivalent qualification.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Advanced medical license (if applicable).
• License to practice as required by the regional health regulatory authority.
