Emergency Room Nurse

About the role

The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in a fast‑paced clinical setting, ensuring patients receive safe, evidence‑based treatment while supporting physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the ER and clinic according to established policies and evidence‑based practice.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Prepare the clinic for physician use, managing consumables and equipment.
• Report equipment failures, safety issues, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Advocate for patients and families, promoting continuity of care.
• Follow infection‑prevention protocols and contribute to a safety culture.
• Participate in quality‑outcome initiatives and patient‑satisfaction programs.
• Engage in ongoing education, training, and professional development.
• Support cost‑efficiency by monitoring resource utilization.
• Perform nursing assessments, record medical histories, and manage medication safely.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Current Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) nursing license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience (exempt for Saudi nationals with a Bachelor’s degree).
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken).
• Ability to work 8‑hour shifts on a 6‑day schedule with one day off.
