Engineer – Airport Facilities Maintenance

About the role

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead the maintenance of airfield electronic systems at King Fahd International Airport and Red Sea International Airport. Reporting to the Facilities Management Contract Manager, you will supervise a team responsible for the upkeep of critical airport equipment and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the maintenance team for electronic systems such as AVDGS and AIPRON.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Oversee work order issuance, execution, reporting, and closure within the CAFM system.
• Maintain accurate records, spare‑parts inventories, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate daily with the FM Contract Manager on staffing and activity schedules.
• Prepare Permit to Work requests and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Develop cost estimates, budget inputs, and recommendations for capital equipment and spare parts.
• Participate in on‑call standby programs and achieve SLA KPI targets.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with standard and specialized maintenance tools.
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and communicate effectively via radio.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
