Estimation Engineer

About the role

Khidmah is looking for a Senior Estimation & Procurement Engineer to lead end‑to‑end bidding, pricing and vendor sourcing activities within its Facilities Management division. The role demands accurate cost modelling, strong negotiation skills and the ability to mobilise projects quickly after award.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents (RFPs, BOQs, drawings, SLAs, KPIs) and produce cost estimates, pricing schedules and commercial reports.
• Support pre‑bid meetings, site visits, value‑engineering studies and post‑tender clarifications.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate quotes for materials, equipment and sub‑contracts, and negotiate terms to achieve competitive value.
• Organise manpower, materials, equipment and logistics to ensure smooth project mobilisation.
• Identify commercial and operational risks, document qualifications/exclusions and maintain pricing models and audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and information‑security standards throughout the bidding process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
• 5‑7 years of experience in Facilities Management, with 3‑5 years focused on estimation and procurement.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑tender processes under tight deadlines.
