Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Executive Assistant Manager (in charge) of Food & Beverage will oversee all operational aspects of the F&B department at a luxury hotel, ensuring standards of the brand and property are met. Reporting to the General Manager, the role combines strategic planning, financial control and day‑to‑day operational leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and preparation of the hotel’s strategic plan.
• Prepare the F&B budget, monitor revenues and hold profit & loss responsibility.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management and Sales to maximise occupancy, rates, average check and overall profit.
• Control duty rosters, labour costs and productivity while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct interviews, create career development plans and manage talent pools.
• Implement, evaluate and communicate procedures, policies and safety measures.
• Lead daily walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and service quality in front‑ and back‑of‑house areas.
• Maintain high visibility with guests and staff, and achieve at least 85 % score in LQA inspections.
• Act as Manager on Duty during weekdays and weekends and assume General Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Director of Food & Beverage.
• International experience across the Gulf region and Europe.
• Comprehensive training in various departments of international luxury hotels.
• Excellent oral and written English; additional language is a plus.
