Executive Audit Manager – Information Technology

About the role

The Executive Audit Manager – Information Technology leads the evaluation of the bank's technology and cyber‑security processes, providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of controls, governance and risk management. Reporting to the IT Audit Director, the role oversees audit planning, execution and strategic initiatives across the bank’s IT, cyber‑security and platform technology teams, including subsidiaries and affiliates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and execute the IT audit plan in line with the ARB audit framework and IIA standards.
• Lead audit teams to assess cyber‑security maturity, network, operating system and data‑center controls.
• Coordinate with business units and senior management to define audit scope and deliver findings.
• Prepare and present audit reports to executives and audit committees.
• Support external auditors and Saudi regulators (e.g., SAMA, NCA) and monitor regulatory responses.
• Review and evaluate IT policies such as change management, business continuity, disaster recovery and information security.
• Recommend corrective actions for identified deficiencies and follow up on implementation.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in IT and cyber‑security auditing.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and interact with senior management.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
