Facilities & Assets Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities & Assets Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day maintenance of production equipment, plant facilities and the fixed‑asset register across AIC’s manufacturing sites. The role ensures that machinery remains operational, premises are safe and functional, and asset data is accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and lines, coordinating plant maintenance teams and technicians.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, utilities, HVAC, power and safety systems, assigning and monitoring work orders.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, record additions, transfers and disposals, and conduct periodic physical asset counts.
• Prepare and track preventive maintenance schedules in the CMMS, raise and follow up work orders, and keep detailed maintenance histories.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory, trigger replenishment, and coordinate contractors and OEM technicians.
• Implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and controlled work execution.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports, fostering a motivated team and promoting continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance activities in an industrial or production environment.
• Strong understanding of plant infrastructure, safety systems and asset management processes.
• Ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks and drive compliance with company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of HVAC and other building utilities.
• Asset management and fixed‑asset register maintenance.
• Spare‑parts inventory control and vendor coordination.
