Facilities Management Director

About the role

The Facilities Management Director leads the development and implementation of Riymar’s facilities management strategy, ensuring that all operational activities align with business objectives and client requirements. This senior role oversees a wide range of services, from maintenance and cleaning to security, landscaping, and MEP services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the facilities management strategy across all sites.
• Oversee integrated services including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping, MEP, and technical services.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, asset lifecycle, inspections, and planned activities.
• Ensure facilities are safe, compliant, operational, and fit for purpose.
• Maintain client relationships, meet contractual obligations, service levels, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Supervise contractors, suppliers, and service providers to meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Support contract negotiations, commercial reviews, and supplier performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost‑efficiency opportunities.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the facilities management team, setting performance objectives and KPIs.
• Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental initiatives.
• Monitor performance through reports, dashboards, audits, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance, and asset management.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and control operational costs.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with a track record of meeting service level agreements.
• Experience overseeing contractors, suppliers, and multi‑disciplinary service teams.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership capability to develop and motivate a facilities management team.
