Field Operator – Coiled Tubing (Saudi Nationals)

About the role

Join the Pressure Pumping Team at Baker Hughes and operate advanced coiled tubing equipment in the oil and gas sector. You will work on cutting‑edge physical and digital technologies, ensuring high‑quality production while supporting wellsite operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and operate multiple machines simultaneously, maintaining safety and on‑time delivery.
• Perform quality‑assurance activities in line with manufacturing, engineering and ISO requirements.
• Conduct safety and risk assessments, implementing preventive measures.
• Assist in rig‑up and rig‑down of coiled tubing equipment at the wellsite.
• Carry out pre‑job inspections, function tests and pressure testing of all equipment.
• Monitor pump rates, tubing depth, weight and well parameters during operations.
• Mix and pump fluids, chemicals or nitrogen as required by the job program.
• Prepare equipment in the base, performing testing and maintenance to keep it operational.
• Follow all operational and safety processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma.
• At least 2 years experience operating nitrogen pumps (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience with coiled tubing equipment and coil units.
• Experience in rig‑up and rig‑down of coiled tubing at wellsites.
• Ability to operate coiled tubing unit, injector head, reel, control console and pressure control equipment (BOP, stripper, lubricator).
• Willingness to work shift‑based schedules under pressure and raise maintenance requests for major breakdowns.
