Field Service Technician – Level 2

About the role

The Field Service Technician Level 2 provides on‑site installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting and repair of Flowserve pumps, seals and related equipment for customers in oil & gas, chemical, nuclear, coal and wastewater sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Make direct, in‑person service calls to customers across multiple industrial sectors.
• Assess mechanical problems and manage the full repair cycle: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and re‑assembly.
• Install mechanical seals, change seal faces, gaskets and O‑rings, and verify start‑up performance.
• Train customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance of Flowserve products.
• Collaborate with repair centres, customer service and sales engineering, and submit accurate daily reports, quotes and time‑and‑material records.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with pumps, seals and related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Self‑starter with strong follow‑through, capable of working independently.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record and willingness to travel globally for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
