Field Support Specialist (Freelance / Dispatch)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Freelance Field Support Specialist to provide on‑site IT assistance across Al Jazeerah District. The role fills gaps when full‑time engineers are unavailable and supports dispatch activities, ensuring business continuity for end‑users and VIPs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software according to company standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks for IT assets.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including break‑fix and compliance/security software.
• Coordinate repairs and replacements with OEMs and vendors.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset documentation.
• Create system images for laptops and desktops.
• Set up and troubleshoot network printers and conference‑room AV equipment.
• Provide high‑touch support for VIP users and handle after‑hours incidents when required.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, on‑site environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing inventory and coordinating with vendors.
