Finance Manager – FMCG Specialist

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead daily financial operations for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) business, providing senior leadership with actionable analysis, forecasts, and cash‑flow insights to support strategic decisions and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret financial reports for management, offering recommendations for action.
• Advise on investment opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
• Maintain the organization’s financial health, stability, and compliance.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and performance versus plans.
• Develop financial trends, forecasts, and projections.
• Identify and evaluate cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting processes and set financial objectives.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure robust financial controls.
• Collaborate with other departments on business plans and future directions.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, supplier payments, and contract commitments.
• Review inventory levels and align supplier orders with sales forecasts.
• Supervise the Accounting Team in day‑to‑day activities.
• Ensure transparency, accuracy, and confidentiality of financial data.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Finance Manager with strong FMCG experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
• Proven experience in a managerial or senior finance role, preferably within FMCG.
• Solid understanding of financial and commercial dynamics of the FMCG sector.
