Finance Operations – Reconciliation Lead

About the role

HALA is seeking a Finance Operations – Reconciliation Lead to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of pool‑account and customer‑transaction reconciliations across its fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with Digital, Safeguarding, and Customer Care teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily and periodic reconciliation and balancing analysis for pool accounts and customer transactions.
• Generate accurate summary reconciliation reports, highlight actions, and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve bank interface issues, customer claims, and other reconciliation challenges.
• Escalate unresolved risks and recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reconciliation controls, collect and verify data integrity, and run analytical models.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and support ad‑hoc requests or special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar finance or reconciliation role.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• CPA designation preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using computerized ledger systems.
