Finance SME – SAP Finance Functional Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance SME to lead SAP Finance functional activities for a global consulting and technology organization in Khobar. The role will drive finance excellence, support digital transformation initiatives and ensure successful SAP S/4HANA finance implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, CO, PA) to meet business requirements.
• Lead cost planning, cost allocation and budgeting initiatives using SAP finance data and analytics.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct workshops with business leaders to align project objectives and clarify functional needs.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP FICO best practices, configurations and process improvements.
• Mentor junior consultants and oversee project teams to ensure delivery quality and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO consulting and implementation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing SAP FICO projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP finance modules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
