Finance Team Lead

About the role

Dnaneer Financing Company, a Saudi Central Bank‑licensed fintech, is seeking a hands‑on Finance Team Lead to oversee its three core finance verticals – Financial Management, Accounting, and Debt Control. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role ensures the accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance of all financial information that underpins the company’s trust with regulators, auditors and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the debt control function, reconciling loan balances, accrued profit and repayment schedules, and ensuring proper classification, provisioning and reporting of overdue and impaired exposures in line with IFRS 9 and SAMA requirements.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, and perform variance analysis to provide insights to senior management.
• Own the preparation and submission of SAMA regulatory returns and prudential reports, ensuring full compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, manage external audits and drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in a regulated environment, preferably within a fintech or SME‑focused financing company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS 9 and Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Experience supervising finance teams, including accountants and debt controllers.
• Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to present financial insights to senior leadership.
