Financial Controller – Finance Management & Strategy

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the company’s financial operations, supporting long‑term growth through budgeting, analysis, consolidation and reporting. The role reports to senior management and provides strategic financial advice for the Saudi Arabian market.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor financial accounting and reporting systems in line with local policies and company procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, the annual budget and year‑end statutory accounts.
• Maintain fully reconciled general ledger with accurate accruals and pre‑payments.
• Ensure full compliance with local VAT, taxes and governmental reporting requirements.
• Provide objective strategic advice to management on financial performance and cash‑flow trends.
• Analyse acquisition projects, including valuations and due‑diligence of financials.
• Develop and update long‑term business plans for the KSA market.
• Investigate and resolve insurance provider remittances in accordance with company policy.
• Identify cost‑reduction and efficiency opportunities and present recommendations.
• Produce accurate financial reports on the OneStream global reporting system within set deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA, CFA or ACCA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive finance management experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Experience in corporate finance or transaction advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
• Proven ability in financial analysis, modelling and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
