Financial Controller – Odoo Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller with strong hands‑on experience in Odoo Accounting to lead day‑to‑day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations using Odoo Accounting, including General Ledger, AP, AR, journal entries, invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and balance‑sheet reconciliations and lead monthly and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and conduct financial analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure accurate VAT reporting, compliance with IFRS, Saudi accounting standards, ZATCA regulations, and coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience with hands‑on Odoo Accounting/Odoo ERP.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, month‑end closing, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of VAT, ZATCA requirements, and IFRS applicable in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
