Financial Director

About the role

The Financial Director will lead the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring stability, compliance, and insightful reporting to support executive decision‑making. This senior role oversees budgeting, cash management, risk mitigation, and relationships with banks and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring cost variances with department heads.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet all financial obligations.
• Oversee the production of accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide comprehensive financial reports and analytical insights to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure full compliance with tax, Zakat, and local financial regulations.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective controls and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits with certified auditors.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, and investors to secure financing.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate capital investment opportunities.
• Mentor, lead, and develop the Finance and Accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Full fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Deep understanding of IFRS standards, corporate taxation, and financial compliance.
