Financial Manager – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager to lead finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, reporting and compliance functions for our client, a leading e‑tobacco company operating in Saudi Arabia. The role will act as a strategic business partner to country management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, safeguarding assets and supporting commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, accounting and IFRS compliance for the KSA entity.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities.
• Manage treasury, cash flow and working capital optimization.
• Ensure tax, ZATCA and other regulatory compliance, including VAT, customs, excise and corporate tax.
• Partner with commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision‑making.
• Control inventory, supply‑chain costs and implement cost‑accounting practices.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, risk management and audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a Finance Manager role.
• Background in distribution, FMCG, tobacco/nicotine products or consumer goods, preferably with import and trading exposure.
• Strong knowledge of KSA tax and regulatory requirements.
• Arabic speaking preferred; high integrity, analytical mindset and strong stakeholder management.
