Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the planning, preparation, and distribution of key financial reports and disclosures, ensuring strict compliance with regulations, professional standards, and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and act as the in‑house expert on accounting and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to structure transactions and mitigate negative impacts of standards.
• Conduct fair‑valuation exercises where required by standards.
• Facilitate the end‑to‑end process of generating statutory filings, earnings statements, and quarterly/year‑end financial reports.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash‑flow statements, and related disclosures.
• Review periodic and ad‑hoc financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform financial studies, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of financial statements.
• Manage and resolve complex accounting and audit matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a finance focus.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years with a Big 4 audit firm.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
