Flight Safety Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Flight Safety Manager to lead safety performance across our operations in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Director of Safety, you will own the Safety Management System (SMS) and drive a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Oversee safety reporting, corrective actions, and risk‑mitigation programmes.
• Monitor SMS performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
• Support safety case development and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operational departments to identify and reduce safety risks.
• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of aviation industry experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• At least 3 years of aviation safety experience in similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation risk management and SMS principles.
• Familiarity with GACARs and international aviation regulations (FAA/EASA).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and report‑writing skills.
• Preferred: experience in helicopter SAR/EMS operations and project management.
