About the role

The Food & Beverage Order Taker is a key member of the Swissôtel Al Maqam team, ensuring seamless order processing for room service guests. This position supports the hotel’s high standards of service by handling guest requests efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Take and place food and beverage orders for room service guests.
• Coordinate all service requirements with the Room Service team.
• Assist guests with menu information, beverage lists, promotions, and preparation methods.
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Order Taker or in a similar hospitality role, preferably within a luxury hotel.
• Exceptional communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
• In‑depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and preparation methods.
• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
