Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Lead Opportunity

About the role

We are seeking exceptional Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and FDE Leads who can bridge the gap between customer challenges and production‑ready solutions. This role is hands‑on, customer‑facing, and spans the entire lifecycle from discovery to scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to uncover business and technical problems, translating ambiguous needs into concrete solution concepts.
• Design architecture, write production‑quality code, and build demos or proof‑of‑concepts that showcase the proposed solution.
• Integrate models, APIs, databases, and third‑party platforms, deploying solutions in customer or cloud environments.
• Partner with sales to develop technical strategies that win opportunities and drive deals to closure.
• For FDE Leads: mentor other FDEs, set engineering direction, manage multiple engagements while remaining hands‑on.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who can rapidly prototype, iterate based on feedback, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the primary technical liaison throughout the sales cycle.

Required skills

• Hands‑on software development experience (ability to write production‑grade code).
• Experience building demos, prototypes, or proof‑of‑concepts for customers.
• Familiarity with integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of deploying applications in cloud or on‑premise environments.
