Forward Deployed Engineer – Infrastructure Specialist (Middle East)

About the role

Cohere is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who will act as the bridge between our North AI workspace platform and enterprise engineering teams across the Middle East. You will help customers in sectors such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications securely deploy and integrate cutting‑edge AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of North in private cloud and on‑premises environments, from planning through rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security, and data‑management requirements.
• Design and implement deployment strategies that meet data‑privacy and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment‑related technical issues to minimise downtime.
• Travel to customer premises 20‑40% of the time.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing experience and a passion for solving complex technical problems.
• Proven track record deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to work at high velocity while maintaining quality.

Required skills

• Administration of large‑scale production Kubernetes clusters.
• Helm chart management.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Networking and virtualization knowledge.
