Founding Product Designer – B2B Fintech Buyer App

About the role

FINA is building the infrastructure that enables SMEs to access credit instantly, turning unpaid invoices into working capital. As the first full‑time designer, you will work directly with the Head of Product and VP of Growth to bring B2C‑grade craft to a B2B fintech experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Buyer App experience, from a five‑minute SME onboarding to a finance manager’s dashboard of credit utilization across web and mobile.
• Adapt proven UX patterns from leading BNPL players (Klarna, Affirm, Tabby, Tamara) to the B2B context and ship them quickly.
• Build a cohesive, modern design system with generous white space, rounded edges, and consistent branding across the Buyer App, merchant panel, and embedded touchpoints.
• Design trust‑building flows that help merchants understand loan terms, repayment schedules, and payment failures without feeling overwhelmed.
• Establish design standards, processes, and quality bars that will scale as the product evolves toward broader banking capabilities.

Required profile

• Experience designing products where real financial or operational stakes exist (e.g., financial services, healthcare, enterprise software).
• Track record of shipping live products, not just prototypes, and can point to launched solutions.
• Deep empathy for users unfamiliar with financial terminology, ensuring clarity and confidence.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments where design decisions are made through conversation rather than committees.

Required skills

• BNPL or consumer fintech design experience, with an understanding of credit, repayment, and trust‑building flows.
• RTL (right‑to‑left) design experience for Arabic interfaces – a strong plus for MENA users.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems for modern digital products.
