Fraud Prevention Manager

About the role

The Fraud Prevention Manager will lead Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance’s anti‑fraud function, establishing a robust framework to prevent, detect, investigate and report fraud across all insurance operations. The role safeguards the company, policyholders and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and regularly review the Fraud Prevention Framework, policies, procedures and controls.
• Conduct comprehensive fraud risk assessments covering all products, processes and distribution channels.
• Define fraud indicators, red‑flags and early‑warning mechanisms to spot emerging fraud patterns.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious claims and transactions involving policyholders, providers, agents, vendors and other third parties.
• Lead investigations, document evidence, findings and recommendations, and maintain a confidential Fraud Case Register.
• Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, IT, Cybersecurity, HR and other functions during investigations.
• Utilise data‑analytics techniques to detect unusual claim patterns, duplicate or inflated claims and other fraud schemes.
• Escalate material fraud cases and significant risks to the CEO and senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in fraud prevention, investigation or risk management within the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes, regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional investigations and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Analytical mindset with experience applying data‑driven methods to identify fraud patterns.
