Fraud Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Fraud Specialist to join a fast‑growing digital marketplace in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will help protect users and transactions by detecting suspicious activity, analysing emerging fraud patterns, and strengthening our security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor marketplace activity to identify and prevent fraudulent transactions.
• Analyse data to uncover fraud patterns, emerging risks and potential attack methods.
• Investigate escalated fraud cases and recommend actions based on risk assessments.
• Collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to improve detection and prevention systems.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports and alerts for ongoing fraud monitoring.
• Contribute to fraud‑prevention policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
• Identify vulnerabilities and suggest improvements to enhance user trust and platform security.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, trust & safety, fintech, e‑commerce or marketplace environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with fraud monitoring tools, anomaly detection methods or rule‑based risk systems.
