Freelance Construction Manager (m/f/d) – Riyadh Project

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Construction Manager to lead a permanent installation project in Riyadh. The role will oversee all construction activities from planning and mobilisation through installation and demobilisation, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction schedules aligned with overall project timelines.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Lead day‑to‑day site operations, supervise contractors and freelance crews, and conduct regular inspections.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and logistics plans.
• Promote a strong health‑and‑safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company HSE policies.
• Serve as the primary construction contact for stakeholders, provide progress updates and resolve site issues promptly.
• Monitor construction budgets, labour costs and supplier performance, and support change‑management processes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in construction management or civil engineering, preferably on projects in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of health‑and‑safety regulations and site‑management best practices.
• Experience managing subcontractors, freelance crews and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams.
