GCP Infra Cloud Support Engineer

About the role

Provides expert‑level support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure within a client environment. You will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, optimise performance, and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to, diagnose and resolve complex GCP infrastructure incidents.
• Monitor and maintain the client’s GCP environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and networking components.
• Provide proactive guidance on GCP architecture, security, and cost optimisation.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and best‑practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP infrastructure services.
• Expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerisation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• GCP certifications are highly desired.
