About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage petty cash, journal entries, and general ledger activities within a fast‑paced contracting environment. The role involves supporting month‑end closing and assisting with audits and financial reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor petty cash transactions.
- Record and post journal entries accurately.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper account classification.
- Perform account reconciliations for cash, bank, and other accounts.
- Ensure all financial records are properly documented.
- Support month‑end closing and reporting processes.
- Assist in audit requirements and financial reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in contracting or construction.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English.
