General Accounting Specialist / Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a General Accounting Specialist/Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. The role supports accurate financial transaction processing, reporting and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing management accounts, fund flow statements and the annual budget.
• Handle roll‑over of deposits, collateral reports and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation.
• Lead monthly financial close, analyze income accounts and produce reports for management.
• Supervise Accountant and Cashier in cash reconciliations and balance‑sheet control.
• Conduct performance discussions and support development of sub‑ordinates.
• Review final accounts, journal vouchers and ledger accuracy.

Required profile

• Close supervision on daily operations and monthly reporting.
• Limited authority over daily operations, adhering to accepted accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Experience with budget control and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliation and cash management.
• Ability to coordinate audit processes and prepare supporting documentation.
