General Manager – Investment Analysis

About the role

The General Manager – Investment Analysis leads the investment analysis function for a commercial real‑estate portfolio, shaping strategy, financial planning and capital allocation to maximise shareholder value. Reporting to senior executives, the role partners with leadership to evaluate development, acquisition and asset‑repositioning opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive investment strategy, underwriting standards and governance across the portfolio.
• Oversee complex financial modeling, valuation, DCF analysis and approval of feasibility studies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, produce executive dashboards and recommend restructuring, acquisitions or disposals.
• Lead market research, macro‑economic analysis and competitive intelligence to identify new investment opportunities.
• Direct financial due diligence and investment governance for acquisitions, joint ventures and development projects.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial real‑estate investment analysis or finance.
• Strong track record of evaluating large‑scale development and acquisition transactions.
• Ability to translate market insights into strategic investment recommendations.

Required skills

• Financial modeling and valuation.
• Investment underwriting and capital‑structure analysis.
• Proficiency with IRR, NPV, ROI, EBITDA and cash‑on‑cash return metrics.
