General Manager – Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead a dynamic marketing agency in Riyadh. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on operational management to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the agency’s long‑term strategic vision and business plans.
• Assume full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality projects.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring efficient project delivery and optimal resource use.
• Identify new market opportunities, cultivate key client relationships and lead high‑level pitches.
• Serve as senior point of contact for major clients, exceeding expectations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and track KPIs across departments to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (General Manager, Managing Director, Head of Operations) within a marketing, creative or advertising agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated success in driving growth, acquiring clients and managing a profitable P&L.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving and commercial acumen.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC market is a plus.
