General Project Professional

About the role

The General Project Professional will oversee non‑technical projects for Saudi Telecom Company, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating multiple initiatives, developing long‑term strategic plans, and acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple related projects in a coordinated manner to achieve synergistic benefits.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, plans, and annual improvement initiatives.
• Oversee implementation of new outlets and refurbishment of existing ones, coordinating logistical and technical requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks, optimise process flows, and drive cost‑control measures across projects.
• Prepare long‑term (3‑5 year) plans and analyses for senior management review.
• Review and approve project design, tender documents, scopes of work, and contractual terms.
• Produce feasibility studies, master plans, and budgets for assigned non‑technical projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and objectives, providing regular status reports.
• Manage change‑request processes and ensure updates are reflected in project milestones.
• Coordinate sign‑off procedures with consultants and oversee handover of completed assets.
• Evaluate vendor bids, participate in price negotiations, and support vendor registration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing non‑technical projects within a large organization.
• Strong ability to develop and communicate long‑term strategic plans.
• Experience handling project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Effective coordination skills with internal departments and external vendors.
• Excellent reporting and documentation capabilities.
