Growth Lead – Activation

About the role

SILQFi is looking for a Growth Lead – Activation to turn newly‑acquired merchants into active users of its financing products. This hands‑on, customer‑obsessed role works directly with merchants and end‑customers to remove friction from the onboarding and first‑order process.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end onboarding and first‑order journey, reducing time‑to‑first‑order and improving completion rates.
• Conduct field interviews, calls and visits with merchants and customers to map their journey and identify breakdown points.
• Design and launch frictionless onboarding flows (Onboarding v2) and automated nudges in partnership with the Growth Squad.
• Translate qualitative insights into concrete UX and process improvements that accelerate activation.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Risk/KYC teams to unblock bottlenecks and keep the activation funnel moving.
• Track leads, activation metrics and funnel performance to inform data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in B2B operations, field marketing, merchant acquisition or a customer‑facing growth role.
• Strong customer‑discovery mindset with a passion for interviewing users and mapping journeys.
• Professional fluency in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Bias for action and comfort working in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience activating or onboarding merchants on the ground.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Google Sheets, Zoho or HubSpot.
• Ability to create and interpret user‑journey maps to pinpoint process breakdowns.
