Hardware and Network Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Hardware and Network Technician to manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of networks, systems, and security devices.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory, user accounts, groups, permissions, and device policies.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks and connected devices.
• Manage FortiGate firewall rules, access controls, and security policies.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain software applications across company devices.
• Set up and administer SaaS applications, handling access controls and user support.
• Administer email systems, user accounts, and related security policies.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
• Monitor system updates, patches, antivirus protection, and endpoint security.
• Perform system backups, restore operations, and maintain backup documentation.
• Handle IT support tickets, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues, and document resolutions.
• Manage IT assets, including registration, assignment, tracking, and record updates.
• Prepare IT devices, accounts, applications, licenses, and access for new employees.
• Maintain technical documentation of system configurations, installations, and changes.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, including Hik‑Connect cameras.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows, Microsoft 365, SaaS, and email administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi) and FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience with backup/recovery, endpoint security, antivirus, patch management, and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, preferably Hikvision/Hik‑Connect.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
