Head of Finance – Financial Control

About the role

Tabby is looking for a Head of Finance (Financial Control) to lead finance operations for its Saudi entity. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and strong governance while supporting the company’s rapid growth in the FinTech sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing for KSA with a D+3 target.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS (9, 15, 16), SOCPA, ZATCA (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF) and SAMA reporting requirements.
• Oversee treasury and liquidity management, including bank accounts, merchant settlements and payment approvals.
• Manage external audits and deliver audit‑ready financial statements.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls across all finance processes.
• Support provisioning and ECL calculations under IFRS 9 for receivables.
• Drive ERP re‑platforming to Oracle NetSuite and manage related integrations.
• Prepare and submit statutory and prudential reports to SAMA and tax filings to ZATCA on time.
• Handle intercompany and transfer pricing compliance in coordination with Group Tax.
• Build, coach and develop a high‑performing local finance team.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations to ensure finance readiness for new product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• SOCPA qualification required (CPA, ACCA or CMA acceptable with SOCPA eligibility).
• 8–12+ years of experience in controllership, statutory reporting or finance leadership within FinTech, banking, payments or a Big 4 environment.
