Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance leads the finance functions across all Business Units, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, compliance with policies, and providing critical financial insight to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Implement processes and controls for accurate transaction recording and policy compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles and meet reporting deadlines.
• Oversee taxation affairs, liaise with tax consultants, and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare three‑month cash‑flow forecasts and supply financial data for strategic decisions.
• Manage banking, borrowing arrangements, and covenant compliance.
• Supervise finance systems, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax, and management accounting.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop finance staff.
• Track budgets, billing, collections, and tax information.
• Review and update finance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including hospital finance.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Experience with healthcare provider billing and collections is a plus.
