Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Jeddah

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to represent its Specialized Nutrition portfolio in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will act as a medical representative, building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and promoting Danone’s nutrition solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics, and private practices regularly to establish and maintain scientific‑based relationships with HCPs.
• Present clinical data, product benefits, and scientific arguments to influence HCP prescribing behavior.
• Conduct audio‑visual scientific meetings, seminars, and nutrition‑education events.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and develop tactical plans to protect market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, handle queries/complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports and manage daily database records.
• Collaborate with the regional team on KPIs, business plans, and weekly call cycles.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with the ability to discuss clinical studies and nutrition science.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with HCPs and key opinion leaders.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude and ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Product knowledge in specialized nutrition and infant formula regulations.
• Experience conducting medical detailing and scientific presentations.
• Ability to manage a CRM/database and generate accurate reports.
