About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott's quality standards. This role coordinates cleaning activities, resolves room discrepancies, and supports the housekeeping team in daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool after cleaning to verify standards.
- Run sold room reports, prioritize cleaning, and update room status for departing guests.
- Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to resolve issues.
- Document and communicate room assignment changes and shift handovers.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 lb unassisted.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using computers or point‑of‑sale systems for work‑related information.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
