Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Team Leader supports the Housekeeping Director and Assistant Manager in delivering the Grand Hyatt brand promise through immaculate guest rooms, public areas and exceptional service. This onsite role combines administration, guest interaction, financial oversight and operational coordination to ensure a smooth, cost‑effective housekeeping operation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Supervisor’s Logbook, record daily events and follow up on reports from other supervisors.
• Raise job orders for engineering repairs and track maintenance requests.
• Ensure Housekeeping Attendants deliver brand‑standard service to guests and internal customers, handling complaints promptly.
• Assist in scheduling, multi‑skilling and flexible staffing to meet financial targets while maintaining service quality.
• Monitor cost structures, report financial data accurately and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Prepare weekly work schedules, assign duties, and conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, F&B outlets, offices, toilets and car parks.
• Report lost or damaged items, adverse guest comments and coordinate with contractors for any required work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.
• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on detail and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, internal teams and external contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and adapt to changing business needs.
