HVAC & Refrigeration Technician / AC Technician

About the role

The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment across commercial, residential and industrial facilities. The role demands hands‑on technical expertise and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair split ACs, package units, chillers, FCUs, AHUs and refrigeration units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including gas charging, vacuuming and pressure testing.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigerant leaks, and execute repairs.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs and inspection reports.
• Follow company SOPs and local regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical or a related trade.
• 2–5 years of proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration/AC technician.
• Experience in commercial, residential or industrial projects; GCC experience is a plus.
• Technical certification in HVAC/Refrigeration is advantageous.
