Infrastructure Project Director

About the role

The Infrastructure Project Director will lead large‑scale (mega) infrastructure projects across the MENA region, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives and deliver value to clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Lead the execution of mega projects and complex infrastructure programmes, managing budgets, schedules and quality standards.
• Direct project managers and teams, providing leadership, guidance and performance management.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cash‑flow, cost control, billing, claims and profitability.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues and stakeholder expectations, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders.
• Manage contract administration, subcontractor performance, compliance, claims resolution and dispute mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management systems, processes and third‑party performance.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Strong ability to negotiate and influence at all organisational levels.
• Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills across organisational and international boundaries.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑building capabilities.
