Inspector – Landscape Architecture

About the role

The Inspector – Landscape Architecture is responsible for implementing quality management systems and supervising site activities related to landscape works. The role ensures that all installations meet contract specifications, international standards, and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record execution of landscape works, maintaining complete documentation.
• Inspect, sample, and test materials to verify compliance with contract specifications.
• Identify non‑conforming work or materials, notify contractors, and track corrective actions.
• Review and comment on contractors' method statements, technical submittals, and technical queries.
• Participate in site technical coordination meetings to discuss submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Conduct final inspections for certification of completion and handover.
• Inspect on‑site and off‑site materials, organize field and laboratory tests, and assess acceptability.
• Highlight safety concerns, ensure statutory permits and NOCs are available, and support interim payment reviews.
• Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to implement quality procedures and resolve design or contractual discrepancies.

Required profile

• Experience in quality inspection and supervision of landscape or civil/architectural works.
• Familiarity with contract documents, international standards, and local authority requirements.
• Ability to prepare and maintain detailed inspection records and non‑conformance reports.
• Strong coordination skills for interacting with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
