Insurance Officer – Manage Policies & Claims

About the role

We are seeking an Insurance Officer to oversee the company’s insurance portfolio, ensuring that all assets, operations and business activities are adequately protected. The role involves daily coordination with the Group, insurance brokers and internal departments to maintain continuous coverage and manage claims.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update all company insurance policies and related records.
• Coordinate with the Group on policy coverage, requirements and renewals.
• Provide accurate information for insurance renewals and policy arrangements.
• Monitor policy expiry dates and ensure continuity of coverage.
• Manage insurance claims from notification through settlement and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments to gather required information.
• Maintain an updated insurance register and track premiums, coordinating payments with Finance/Treasury.
• Prepare regular reports on policies, claims and outstanding matters.
• Support audits by supplying required insurance documentation and ensure compliance with company and Group policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in insurance or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience dealing with insurance companies, brokers and claims.
