Integrated Commercial Director – Field Development

About the role

The Integrated Commercial Director – Field Development will lead commercial strategy for complex upstream field development projects, ensuring that proposals and agreements maximise shareholder value while mitigating technical, operational, financial and contractual risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate proposals and tender documentation for integrated field development opportunities.
• Design commercial frameworks covering pricing, scope definition, contracting strategy, risk allocation and customer value proposition.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary sales teams including engineering, legal, finance, risk and operations.
• Support senior customer interfaces and manage long‑term sales processes for large, strategic opportunities.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements such as joint operating agreements, asset acquisitions and commercial partnerships.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in upstream E&P business development and field development practices.
• Proven ability to translate end‑to‑end technical development plans into commercial structures.
• Strong understanding of geoscience and engineering disciplines to inform commercial solutions.
• Experience handling complex, high‑value contracts and senior stakeholder relationships.
