Interior Designer – Furniture

About the role

The Interior Designer will work within Majid Al Futtaim LifeStyle to guide customers through material and furnishing selections, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule and client expectations from inception to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to define goals and project requirements.
• Create final design plans using CAD and 3‑D software.
• Order materials and supervise installation of design elements.
• Develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
• Provide product knowledge to encourage sales and achieve individual sales targets.
• Set project costs and fees in line with budgets.
• Specify lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• 3ds Max
• Adobe Illustrator (or similar design programs)
