Internal Audit Manager - Corporate

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will lead Adeera’s internal audit function, reporting functionally to the Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO. The role combines strategic oversight, risk assessment, audit execution, and governance support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the internal audit strategy, set short‑ and long‑term goals, and define KPIs and annual plans.
• Create risk‑based audit plans, allocate resources, and define audit scope, timelines, and methodologies.
• Conduct risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and provide recommendations to improve operations.
• Lead and supervise audit fieldwork across financial, operational, and compliance areas, ensuring alignment with approved programs and best practices.
• Prepare clear audit reports, present findings to senior leadership, and track implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legal and policy changes, ensuring alignment with national and international standards.
• Mentor and develop audit team members, manage performance reviews, and promote continuous training.
• Drive quality initiatives, implement quality assurance programs, and apply industry best practices.
• Foster transparent communication with stakeholders and safeguard audit independence and ethics.
• Provide secretarial support to the Audit Committee, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining records.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead an internal audit function with independence and professionalism.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting audit findings to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Experience in mentoring and developing audit teams.
