Internal Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the internal audit function for Albawani, a leading construction and contracting group in Saudi Arabia. The role will oversee the annual audit plan, manage a team of auditors, and ensure high‑quality audit delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ARC decisions and report monthly on status.
• Deliver the assigned portion of the annual audit plan on time and within budget.
• Approve, review and supervise all audit programs and engagements.
• Monitor audit cycle time, budget performance and attendance compliance.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure audits meet internal standards.
• Collect stakeholder feedback and maintain a minimum satisfaction score of 75%.
• Fulfill annual professional education requirements (40 CPE hours) and lead at least two knowledge‑sharing sessions per year.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of audit experience, preferably in construction or project‑based industries.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management and audit methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, CPA/SOCPA or equivalent.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP and Oracle.
